Lucas, an amateur soccer player, required knee surgery following an injury while playing soccer. Attending 30-minute physical therapy sessions weekly, he was prematurely told:"Goodbye! You're ready to return to the game". Realizing he wasn't fully prepared and lacked confidence, Lucas sought out Fernanda Beck, an experienced Nike coach with a soccer background. With focused strength and conditioning training tailored to soccer, Lucas regained his passion for the sport.
Inspired by their journey, Lucas and Fernanda collaborated to create a training program for amateur soccer players to enhance both their soccer skills and physical fitness simultaneously.Their goal is to provide conditioning sessions accessible to all, allowing participants to train like pros.
That's when the Functional Football Academy (FFA) was born. As the first academy in Germany (to our knowledge) that aims to merge the passion for playing soccer with the goal of improving physical fitness.
